BOOK RECOMMENDATION #2

CLICK ON THE LINKS UNDER EACH BOOK TO READ THE RELATED REVIEWS

1.Scorched by Jennifer L.Armentrout

It is an adult novel.
a girl using alcohol to deal with her problems or actually to run from them ... you would think at first that she is an alcoholic rich junkie but there is more to her then the drinking .. much deeper issues .
I am a huge fan of Jennifer L,Armentrout work and I have to say that this is the very first contemporary novel I loved. It captured me enough to not wanting to let it go. You better go in blind without knowing much about the storyline , lots of surprises ahead.

2.Red Queen and Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

red queen review

I didn't write a review on Glass Sword because there is no way I can write about it without spoiling the first book for those who haven't read it yet. All I  can say that it is the perfect sequel for one of my absolute favorite books ever RED QUEEN. I am itching to read the third book .

3.Tales Of Beedle The Bard by J.k. Rowling

BOOK REVIEW

CINDER
by Marissa Meyer

OK Let's go ahead and jump right into this because I've been putting it off for quiet sometime.

I don't know what the hell made me procastinate reading ''CINDER'' for so long. The book was on my TBR list forever.

I finally read it and I LOVED it. I mean come on hats down for Marissa Meyer for this, fairytale retelling and a cyborg cinderella ???? NAILED IT

Cinder is a mechanic and half cyborg. She is poorly treated by her stepmother and stepsister. The other stepsister loves her.

One day the prince of Beijing, where the story takes place, visits Cinder's booth and asks her to fix his android and the fairy tale begins with him falling for her, typical, without knowing she is a cyborg.

However a plague breaks in and Cinder's sister gets infected. From there things start to get complicated . From that point Lunars appear in the picture and let me tell you this , their queen Levana is an awfully disturbing character.

Marissa Meyer did a hell of a job on her character . Levana actually gave me nightmares because I would read right before I go to bed and TADAAA there is it Levana creeping into my dreams and twisting them . Just like that I decided to not finish the book at night LOL.

Moving on. The plot is really intriguing and well done , a true page turner. The characters develop wonderfully especially Cinder. She grows and rebels , steps in the shoes of a protector , victim , hero , outcast etc.. Besides I think that choosing Beijing for the story to take place in is impeccable.

I have to stop myself now or I will start blabbing about the story line and most probably spoil t for you . So I leave you with this hoping that you like it and enjoy the book when you decide to pick it up.

That's it for this review , thank you and see you next time . bye
